McCain’s disillusioned energy plan
Update: Yesterday I attended a presentation entitled, Coming Clean: America’s Energy Priorities at a Crossroads. Roger Duncan, GM at Austin Energy, brought the energy discussion down to the basics. He described the key problems we must prioritize. They include infrastructure, fuel depletion, energy density, workforce, water, supply constraints, climate change the decision-making process.
I wish he could give this presentation to every member of congress.
I shouldn’t even mention the ridiculous McCain ad that I saw on the Today Show this morning. It says Obama is responsible for the high gas prices.
I hope we voters are smarter than McCain thinks we are.
The Washington Post understands how Global Pressures have Converged to Forge a New Oil Reality.
If you want an energy plan that is business as usual…using our limited oil and coal to produce short-term solutions, then McCain is the man but if you want an innovative plan that will help us to actually reduce our dependence on foreign oil and reduce carbon emissions, then Obama is the man.
